| QA Tester
|
Our client is seeking a QA Tester to Develop Quick Test Pro scripts for browser-based applications:
- Candidate must have enough knowledge of Quick Test Pro to build flexible and maintainable regression scripts
- Basic Knowledge of UNIX and SQL is must.
Responsibilities:
- Create and execute Manual test cases as well that include positive and negative testing scenarios
- Log and track related defects
- Work with the development and business teams to clarify requirements as needed
- Assist with keeping phases of testing completion in line with project due dates
Qualifications:
· 3+ years of experience as a software tester with emphasis on developing test plans and scripts required.
· Experience with Mercury's Quality Center, QuickTest Professional, LoadRunner and WinRunner required.
· Experience with end-to-end software system testing required.
· Familiarity with current technologies is desired, especially in transaction-intensive web-based systems.
· Understanding of the software development process, including requirements gathering, analysis and design, development tools and technologies, and testing methodologies required.
